Furthermore, even with the best preparation, marriage – like life itself – is full of surprises that require new insights and attitudes. This sefer is the perfect opportunity to help you and your spouse grow together and achieve a most rewarding and content relationship.

Is the sefer for women or men?

It is for both.  The sefer is based on the recordings of the Rosh Yeshiva’s separate lectures to men and to women.

Can I share this sefer with my spouse? Maybe there is something in it that he or she will use to criticize me?

During the course of the writing of the sefer, the Rosh Yeshiva shlita was consulted on how to best express his thoughts in way such that both men and women could gain mutual and maximum benefit from the sefer.

I already have a happy marriage; why should I read it?

Consider these words from the sefer, page 58: “We generally think of peace as being the lack of conflict among people. Shalom bayis is obviously much more than the lack of conflict between husband and wife.”

Besides addressing the basic issues that spouses encounter during their marriage this sefer will acquaint you with inspirational insights into the purpose and potential of marriage that only a gadol b'Torah like the Rosh Yeshiva, shlita can provide.
